Our Candidates:
Jennifer Herring
Running for Township Superviser
It started 15 years ago
Fifteen years ago Jennifer Herring and her husband, Karl settled into their first home in Doylestown Township to start a family. Jennifer fell in love with the community, the character of our township and the surrounding natural beauty.
It was that love that drove her to get involved at the local level by serving for several years as Judge of Elections and then continuing as Committee Person. She is looking to continue to affect positive change in her community by proudly serving as Doylestown Township Supervisor.
Jennifer graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business in 1999 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She practiced public accounting; performing audits, tax preparation and consulting over the past 18 years. In that capacity she audited corporations, non-profits and governmental entities.
With this experience, Jennifer opened JVH Accountants in Doylestown. In addition to starting her own firm, she used her skills to support local business and agriculture by acting as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Doylestown Cooperative, a non-profit grocery store whose mission is, in part, to support local farms and food producers. She also lends her skills to Doylestown Community Programs, a non-profit organization offering educational programs focused on agriculture and nutrition by serving as Treasurer on their Board of Directors.
If given the honor of being elected Township Supervisor, she will work to protect our natural resources and our community while keeping watch over the Township’s financial health for the future of her daughter, neighbors and community.
