Michele Crunkleton
Running for Borough Tax Collector
Qualified and Ready to go
Michelle Crunkleton grew up in Bucks County, graduated from Rutgers University, and moved to New York City. She returned home to Bucks County, and moved to Doylestown Borough eleven years ago.
While in New York, Michelle worked in the financial services industry, and IT. Since moving to Doylestown with her husband to raise their twin daughters, she has worked in customer service, and has enjoyed volunteering in the community. She has been an active school volunteer, a Girl Scout troop leader, a 4-H club leader, and an advocate for children’s health.
Most recently, Michelle worked at Grundy Hall, a HUD-subsidized residence for low-income seniors and disabled adults. Besides managing the day-to-day operations, Michelle collected and posted rents, and conducted annual recertifications and rent changes in accordance with federal guidelines. She has a strong background in handling personal financial information with integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality.
Michelle would be honored to serve the community as Tax Collector, and has already passed the Act 48 Tax Collector Qualification Exam. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania State Tax Collectors’ Association.
