Jennifer Jarret
Running for Borough Council - Ward 3
Jennifer Jarret, a lifelong resident of the Borough of Doylestown was brought up to have a passion for supporting and giving back to the community.
After graduating from Central Bucks West High School, Temple University, and the University of Miami, Jennifer returned to Doylestown with her husband John. They are now imparting their love and commitment to Doylestown to their five-year-old who loves walking in town, playing at the numerous borough parks, visiting the museums and swimming at Fanny Chapman Pool.
Jennifer has participated in numerous volunteer activities including the Doylestown Women’s March with Rise Up Doylestown, PARK(ing) Day Doylestown pop up parks, the Bucks County Historical Society and is currently a member of the Borough’s Historic Architectural Review Board.
As a Councilperson, Jennifer wants to continue to work for what makes Doylestown so special, vital and inclusive: the preservation of our past, celebration of our present and innovation for our future. As a representative of the residents of Ward 3, Jennifer intends to encourage more community participation and awareness of the role of citizens, volunteers and business owners in the public discourse.
Because of innovation in communication and technology, we live in a changing world and helping bring Doylestown to the forefront of planning that changing landscape is a critical part of this moment in history. Jennifer Jarret will help continue the job of steering the Borough toward prosperity and success for future generations while still valuing the past that has made Doylestown so special.
